Q; What is the life
expectancy of a metal roof?
A: A quality metal roof that is properly installed should last the lifetime of the
owner. Also, premium finish metal carries a 30 or 40 year paint warranty against cracking, peeling, chalking or fading.

What about my whirlybird vent?
A: Although I can re-install a whirlybird vent, I strongly recommend the installation
of a vented ridge system. Vented ridges are efficient and gives the roof a much cleaner appearance.

Not enough to notice. (to the disappoinment of a few customer)

A: No, todays panels have advanced
coating to prevent rust.

A: Actually,
just the opposite. Heated air rises through the highs in the panel to allow ventilation as cooler air is drawn in through
the eaves. In addition, to cut a vented ridge greatly increases this ventilation.

Q; Would a metal roof be too heavy for certain types
of homes?
A: Metal roofing weighs from 1/10th to 1/2 as much as other materials, therefore it can be safely installed
over one or two layers of shingles.

Q; How well does metal roofs stand up to the elements?
A:
Properly install metal roofing will withstand harsh weather better than any other roofing systems. Metal sheds snow and ice.
Other product absorb water which can lead to cracking and rotting in the freeze thaw cycle. Metal can also withstand wind
speeds between 120 to 200 depending on installation procedures.

Can you walk on a metal roof?
A: Yes, but with great caution. Never walk on the high ridges of the panel. And NEVER
walk on a wet or damp metal roof. Even pollen can make your roof slippery.

A: A metal roof has
a class-A , top rating. Check with your insurance company for any discounts.
